Dropping "EFF" bombs.......literally

Anyone who knows me knows that I cuss. A LOT. And while I don't cuss all day every day of my life, I speak with a very colorful language sometimes. I cuss when I am happy. I cuss when I am angry (especially). I cuss when I am frustrated. I cuss when I am hurt. Yesterday and some days before that, I was angry about what someone close to me was being subjected to. My reaction during the conversation was filled with the proclamation "FUCK _________________" I said it. I meant it when I said it. I meant it after I said it. When your cheerleader rolls out on you

My cheerleader is gone. She got tired. She packed up her overworked pom poms and rolled right out. I’m sitting here wondering when she’s coming back. I need her. But I overworked her.  I spent the bulk of 2014 doing 100 miles easy. I kept telling myself that I needed to grind. The grind does not grind itself. The brand does not brand itself. Most of the things I did for others this year were overshadowed by a strong sense of resentment and regret. I did not want to help all of the people I helped. I did not want to b...

Your intuition doesn't fail you. You usually fail it.

I've watched several intimate connections disconnect in many ways over the last week or so. One of them was mine. Something shifted. Something's in the water. Something's in the air. WHATEVER. One of the things that I realized was that I didn't pay attention to my intuition. Fifteen years ago, if I didn't pay attention to my intuition, I ignored the fact that I didn't pay attention to it and blamed him for being who he was. Today, I realize that the longer I ignore that NAGGING THOUGHT that this person isn't the right person for me, the longer I delay the inevitable. The more I ignore the warning signs, the more I open myself to someone else's foolishness. Some people will take advantage if you let them. Some people will walk through an opened door....even if the sign on the door reads "If you walk through this you will hurt my feelings". They'll walk through the door if they believe that there's something on the other side of the door ...
